Can I drive my car with a basemap?
A basemap is assentially an educated guess calibration file made specifically for your engine & specifications, it is meant to get the car running before the tune can be dialed in on a road or a dyno. While we have extensive experience writing these calibrations for an assortment of Honda/Acura engines we are unable to guarantee accuracy without reading data and making adjustments, because of this it is not recommended to drive the vehicle regularly before the calibration can be dialed in accordingly.
Can you make adjustments to my basemap or give me a refund?
While we may make exceptions in some cases, as we cannot guarantee how well your engine will run on the base calibration we do not offer adjustments or refunds for this service.
How should I proceed after getting a basemap?
Your calibration can be dialed in by a professional tuner on a road or dyno using data recordings alongside sensors such as wideband oxygen and knock, ideally this is done with a dyno to ensure the maximum power is achieved. In some cases we may offer or refer a remote tuning service to the customer.
